Abstract	The purpose of this paper is to present the state-of-the-art procedures that are in use at IRC/NRC for the measurement and analysis of traffic-induced vibrations. The following topics are addressed: (i) measurement systems with special emphasis on recording of vibration signals using portable multi-channel PC-based data acquisition systems (ii) 1/3 octave spectrum analysis and frequency weighting of vibration time- histories using digital filtering on PCs, and (iii) measurement and analysis practices such as transducers positions and mounting methods.
