Abstract | In experimental investigations of the fire resistive properties of structural elements it is often necessary to measure large deflections of test speciments. A survey of the literature indicates that although numerous versions of displacement-measuring devices have evolved there are none that are completely satisfactory. An attempt has therefore been made to design and construct an appropriate device. |
