| Abstract | With funding from the Centralized Enabling Workplace Fund, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) conducted a pilot test of a new lighting solution in summer-fall 2021. The goal was to identify a lighting system that might serve the needs of both the community of light-sensitive public servants and the larger general population. If successful, this new solution might become a way to provide an inclusive environment for all public servants, reducing the need for individual accommodations. The report describes the lighting system and the test and reports the successful outcome: The new lighting system provided better lighting quality for the light-sensitive participants and for the general population. |
