Abstract | In the realm of clean energy innovation, hydrogen fuel cell technology has become one of the most outstanding applications to minimize pollution and alleviate energy crisis [1, 2]. However, a study revealed that hydrogen is an indirect greenhouse gas which could perturb distributions of methane and ozone due to its reaction with radicals in the atmosphere [3]. Thus, a future hydrogen economy may have greenhouse consequences if hydrogen leakage and losses are not being controlled in the application systems. |
