| Abstract | In recent years emphasis has been placed on the importance of muskeg as a major land type in Canada. Aware of this, the writer and his associates have been concerned with a fundamental method of reference for muskeg. Adequate description of the medium proved difficult because definition must not only relate to material, but also to conditions or states to which the material and the environment contribute separately and in combination. |
