Abstract | This report describes the theoretical framework of the detector response model (DTRM) of FIERAsystem. The detection model predicts the time to heat detector activation as a result of a fire in a compartment. Wherever possible, theory and correlations commonly used are incorporated in the model. For this reason, the model presented here is similar in many ways to models such as LAVENT [1], FPETOOL [2], DETACT-QS [3] and ASMET [4]. |
