Abstract | Infrared thermography is a technology that allows infrared or heat radiation to be transformed into a visible image. It is used in building maintenance to locate and identify areas of heat-loss and to assess the integrity of masonry cladding materials. This digest provides an introduction to infrared theory and its application to building analysis. |
