| Abstract | This paper presents the results of field trials of a 3D graphical simulator of forestry machine for training operators of processing harvesters. The results indicate that a prior 25 hours of training on simulator improves by 23% the volume of wood harvested and reduce by 26% the repair and maintenance costs during the first 4 weeks of operation in forest. |
