Abstract | The first objective of this task was to characterize two types of extreme climates in Canada. The two typesof climates were extremely cold climates and extremely wet, humid, and cool climates. The secondobjective was to select potential locations for field investigations. The criteria for characterizing theclimates were the energy efficiency of the building envelope and the durability and sustainability of thebuilding envelope, specifically walls. |
