| Abstract | We have developed a novel monolithic dual-wavelength semiconductor InAs/InP quantum-dash (QD) C-band DFB laser. A record narrow optical linewidth below 30 kHz and relative intensity noise (RIN) of less than -150 dB/Hz are experimentally demonstrated for the two optical modes stemming simultaneously from a single cavity of a free running dual-wavelength semiconductor QD laser. |
