Abstract | We are conducting a large-scale survey of the NGC 1333 star-forming cloud at high resolution with the BIMA interferometer. So far, we have covered the southern half of the cloud in the (1-0) lines of N₂H⁺ and HCO⁺, as well as 3 mm continuum emission. The N₂H⁺ emission not only allows us to study the morphology of emission in the region, but we also obtain precise velocity information, allowing us to study the region dynamically. The HCO⁺ line emission is also a good tracer of outflow activity. We find emission throughout most of the field of view in both lines. To identify individual clumps in this busy region, we have used the MIRIAD task CLUMPFIND. We have found over 100 clumps in both the N₂H⁺ and HCO⁺ lines. We report on the initial findings of our clump census in both lines. |
