| Abstract | In assessing Type IV tanks, a critical performance metric involves predicting the final shape of the liner and its thickness distribution after the cooling and solidification stage. This is essential for ensuring dimensional stability and assessing permeation performance by modeling hydrogen diffusion through the inner thermoplastic liner. Utilization of BlowViewH2 simulation software enables efficient prediction of liner formation and hydrogen diffusion through a multilayer liner under diverse environmental conditions, including ambient air temperature as well as internal hydrogen temperature and pressure. This capability significantly shortened the liner design and development cycle. |
