| Abstract | This report describes the installation at the NRC Engine Laboratory of a Ricardo Hydra single cylinder research engine. Modifications to the supplied engine are reported as well as additions of further instrumentation. The installation was designed for performance testing of diesel fuels in the direct and indirect injection configurations. The initial installation was as a direct injection diesel engine. |
