| Abstract | An instrument which greatly facilitates the end-to-end anastomosis of blood vessels by applying, mechanically, a peripheral suture of small metallic clips is described. The instrument is relatively simple in construction and not difficult to operate. Its suitability has been demonstrated in successful operations on animals. |
