Abstract | This paper presents a framework for simulation software which was developed as a tool for mission planning for ocean gliders and other AUVs. The software takes into account the dynamic effects of the ocean currents on the motions of the AUV and aims to make glider operations be more safe, more predictable, and more efficient. |
