Abstract | The variation of flexural properties of ceramic mould material during the various stages of ceramic mould fabrication has been investigated under various mould processing conditions. These processing conditions included drying in air, enclosing in a plastic bag, immersing in ethyl alcohol, and burning-out after various time intervals in these environments. Based on the observations, the optimised operating conditions for the fabrication of ceramic mould are recommended. |
