Abstract | Noise, uniformaly distributed in amplitude and in frequency of level crossings, can be generated by nonlinear processing of Gaussian noise. The suitability of such noise as a modulation waveform for producing barrage jamming with backward-wave power oscillators (carcinotrons) is discussed. Results of laboratory jamming experiments, conducted with conventional and Dicke-Fix receivers, are presented. |
