Abstract	FIERAsystem (Fire Evaluation and Risk Assessment system) is a computer model for evaluating fire protection systems in light industrial buildings using time-dependent deterministic and probabilistic models to evaluate the impact of selected fire scenarios on life, property and business interruption. This paper presents the procedure used in FIERAsystem to perform a hazard analysis and describes a case study of hazard analysis done for an aircraft hangar. In addition, the paper provides a brief description the FIERAsystem and its main models.
