Abstract | The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) has developed three families of high resolution 3D imaging systems which have been applied to a variety of museum and heritage recording projects. Several of these projects have been undertaken in collaboration with European museums and cultural organizations as well as with several other international partners. The systems have been used to scan archaeological site features, paintings, sculptures and architectural elements on historic buildings for a variety of different applications. |
