Abstract | To establish programs for reducing the electricity consumed by artificial lighting in offices, data on typical consumption patterns must be collected. A time-lapse photographic technique developed for this purpose and applied to a large office was successful in obtaining patterns of lighting use and detailed information on the use of individual switching circuits. Conservation measures suggested by the results of the study include zonal switching. |
