| Abstract | A series of model tests was carried out on a 1:8 scale model of the CCG R-class hull. The range of model velocities and ice parameters covered those suggested by the ITTC. The purpose of the tests was to provide relatively large scale ice resistance data for comparison with model tests on the same hull at 1:20 and 1:40 scale. |
