| Abstract | This report is intended for the System Administrators of IOT to instruct them on the installation and usage of the Software Update Services. It can also be others interested in a low cost patch management system.The Institute for Ocean Technology required a way to centrally deploy the numerous patches that were being released for the Windows 2000 operating system. Several security incidents including the network being attacked by the MS Blaster worm convinced the IOT staff that patches must be deployed quickly. |
