| Abstract | The fungus Chrysosporium cf. merdarium Link (Carmichael) grown on potato dextrose agar produces a yellow pigment. The components of the pigment have been identified as the anthraquinones questin and questinol. The fungus also produces an unknown white metabolite and asterric acid. |
