| Abstract | Resistance tests in level ice were performed with a 1:20 scale model of the R-class icebreaker. The results are compared to results from other model test basins, and also to results from a previous test series with a 1:40 scale model. Full scale predictions from the model tests are compared to field trials data from CCGS Franklin. |
