| Abstract | The design and construction of a series of modulator-detector units for the AN/PSS-502 (Micradet) receiver is described. These devices, which modulate and detect incoming c.w. radiation, cover the frequency range 8-37 GHz in three bands. Also included in the report are the results of some measurements on the sensitivity of various crystal types for use in the receiver. |
