Abstract | This report reviews present building techniques related to the installation of flashing and sheathing paper around window openings and shows how maintaining the simple principles related to water shedding can help eliminate the potential for water leakage between the window frame and the rough opening. A method is proposed to prevent water penetration below the window sill. |
