| Abstract | The calculated RAOs from two ship motion prediction programs - SHP81 and SHIPMO4 - have been compared for various ship headings and speeds. Though the comparison is very good for heave and pitch, results diverge by various extents for other motions, particularly in the following and stern seas. Further comparison with full scale and model scale data is required to establish which one is more accurate. |
