Abstract
The rotating electode process (REP) is a powder production method based on the atomization of liquid metal droplets from the melted end of a rotating electrode. Like other processes based on centrifugal atomization, one of the main advantages of REP is a very precise control of the atomization conditions. Characteristics of REP powders depend mainly upon the atomization parameters and the atomized material itself.
