Abstract	This report describes the 5-year behaviour of monel metal. The specimens of the different metals were exposed at eight outdoor sites across Canada. The over-all program included three types of steel, three stainless steels, two magnesium alloys, a rolled zinc, three aluminum alloys and rivetted galvanic couples of aluminum 3S alloy to zinc, copper and mild steel. The specimens of monel were furnished by the International Nickel Company of Canada, Toronto, who were also responsible for assessing their performance and in compiling this report.
