Abstract | This report presents an assessment of the adequacy and suitability of existing technology, from the point of view of construction industry activity, in the repair and renovation of infrastructure facilities. Some technologies offer promising benefits but are not sufficiently well proven for general adoption by the industry, and some technologies are available in other countries but not well known in Canada. The final section of the report is a brief discussion of some related non-technical issues that impede the development and introduction of new technologies. |
