Abstract | A laser-induced plasma is used for atomization, ionization, and excitation of elements in solid samples. The temporal and spatial behavior of the plasma is studied by observing the emission lines of neutral aluminum and magnesium. The optimal temporal choice was determined for our plasma spectrochemical analysis and a calibration curve for an aluminum-magnesium alloy was obtained. |
