Abstract
The purpose of this summary paper is two-fold. First, it will present an overview of the current state-of-the-science of condition assessment and inspection technologies for water pipes (excluding concrete pipes). Second, it will introduce a new non-destructive and non-disruptive testing method that was recently developed for measuring the remaining general wall thickness of water pipes.
