Abstract | Excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) in salicylideneaniline (SA) and selected derivatives substituted in para-position of the anilino group has been investigated by femtosecond time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (TRPES) and time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT).
