Abstract
An outdoor air collector testing facility has been established at NRCC during 1983 to develop improved thermal performance test methods and equipment and better characterizations of air collector thermal performance. The facility was calibrated using an overall calibration approach. At high flow rates (0.045, 0.080 and 0.160 kg/s), accuracy of the measured rate of collected energy, is within the requirements of ASHRAE Standard 93-77.
