| Abstract | Since the trailer is designed to carry a load of logs with a high centre of gravity, it is essential to know its roll-stability, and to compare this with the same vehicle without air-cushion assistance. This will be a major factor in determining the road-holding ability on curves.
The roll stiffness has been measured in the static steady state case, and curves are here presented comparing the roll stiffness without and with air-cushion assistance. |
