| Résumé | A digital data acquisition system with punched paper tape output has been assembled; it consists of a digital volt-meter, digital clock, and typewriter and tape punch. An interface unit was designed and constructed and is described in detail. The maximum samples rate is about two per second, and accuracy about 0.1%. The system is used to record results of observations of the airglow surrounding the earth, as well as a time signal at the beginning of each set of readings. |
