Résumé | Cet article présente les résultats d'une étude d'utilisation comparant la performance de dispositifs de pointage dans l'exécution de tâches de sélection dans un grand écran. La performance d'une boule de commande, tenue à une main et à deux mains, est comparée à celle d'une souris standard, comme base de comparaison. Les résultats indiquent que la boule de commande tenue à deux mains est considérablement plus rapide que la configuration à une main, offrant une réduction de 13 % du temps de mouvement. Enfin, la souris est presque deux fois plus rapide que les deux autres interfaces, bien qu'elle ne convienne pas aux environnements collaboratifs équipés d'écrans de grande dimension, car elle nécessite une surface de travail qui ne permet pas le libre mouvement des mains. |
