Résumé | A study of the voltage dependence of a high DC voltage divider is performed to establish a traceability of DC voltages up to 150 kV at the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI) in Argentina. The high voltage electrode was selected based on finite element analysis of electric field, several configurations were simulated and the decision was taken considering the electrode size and performance. In addition, measurements were performed to characterize the self-heating and insulation resistance. These results help to establish an a-priori uncertainty at full voltage and will be checked against another well characterized divider. |
