| Résumé | A high strain zone in a deformed ice crystal is investigated with a ‘two-step’ etching and replicating technique. A thin solid film was obtained, representing a mould of the ice surface investigated. This mould, or replica, sampled a full 90 ° lattice rotation, which is monitored with the shape of sublimation pits. The replica also recorded the development of dislocation etch pits on faces of the sublimation pits corresponding to the basal and prismatic lattice surfaces of the material. |
