Abstract
This paper presents a method for determining the dynamic modulus of asphalt concrete materials without the needs for extensive laboratory testing. The method involves using the artificial neural network (ANN) technique to expand existing, complex, modulus test results. The paper describes the use of the ANN technique, which utilizes simple physical parameters as input, to predict the dynamic modulus of asphalt concrete.
